Short answerFixed payments in Couplesplit is one list for everything that repeats: rent, power, internet, the gym, streaming. Each payment either logs itself on its date or reminds you before it is due so you can mark it paid.

When the same charge shows up month after month, Couplesplit asks whether it should become a fixed payment. One tap and it joins the calendar with its amount, day and category.
Rent and utilities usually go in Ours, with who usually pays and how you split them. Your own gym or subscription can live in Mine, where only you see it. Each payment counts in the right month and the right balance, never twice.
A fixed payment is any cost that repeats. In Couplesplit it can log itself, like a recurring expense, or remind you so you mark it paid, which works better when the amount changes every month.
